【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtomeasuretheeffectivenessofbondingroller-compactedconcretetootherroller-compactedconcreteorotherhardenedcementitiousmixturesbyusingapointloadtestatthejoint.Bondstrengthisdeterminedusingdrilledcoresorcastcylindricalspecimensinwhichthebondsurfaceisessentiallynormaltothelongitudinalaxisatapproximatelythemid-lengthofthespecimen.Asplittingtensilestressnormaltothebondsurfaceisproducedbyapplyingapointloadatthejoint.Thistestmethodmaybeusedeitherforlaboratoryinvestigationbycastingindividualcompositecylindersorbycoringprototypestructuresorassemblies(TestMethodC42/C42M).1.1Thistestmethodisintendedfortestingroller-compactedconcretespecimensandcoversdeterminationoftherelativebondbetweenlayersofroller-compactedconcreteorotherhardenedconcreteinmultiple-liftformsofconstruction.Itisapplicabletoalltypesoflayeredconcretewherethetotaldepthissufficienttomeettheminimumspecimenlengthanddiameterrequirementsofthistestmethod.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoprovidetensilestrengthresultsofthematerialtested.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunits,showninbrackets,orinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
