【摘要】:ThispartofBS6465givesrecommendationsonthedesignofsanitaryfacilitiesandtherecommendedscaleofprovisionofsanitaryandassociatedappliancesinnewbuildingsandbuildingsundergoingmajorrefurbishment.Italsocoverstherecommendedscaleofprovisionofportabletoilets.Thisstandardappliestothefollowing:a)privatedwellings;b)residentialandnursinghomesforolderpeople;c)workplaces;d)shopswithsalesareainexcessof1000㎡andshoppingmalls;e)petrolstations;f)schools;g)assemblybuildingswheremostWCuseisduringintervalsorotherconcentratedperiodsoftime,suchastheatres,cinemasandsimilarbuildings;h)assemblybuildingswheremostWCuseisnotconcentratedintheintervals,suchasexhibitioncentres,libraries,museumsandsimilarbuildings;i)bedroomsinhotels,hostels,andsimilaraccommodation;j)restaurants,andotherareaswhereseatingisprovidedforeatinganddrinking;k)licensedpubs,bars,nightclubs,discothequesandsimilarpremises;1)swimmingpools;m)facilitiesfordisabledpeople;n)publictoilets;o)temporarytoilets.NOTE1Therecommendationsforsanitaryappliancesinhospitalsandotherhealthcarebuildingsarecoveredbythegeneralrecommendationsofthisstandard.However,informationonthescaleofprovision,ergonomicdataandthespecialrequirementsforsanitaryappliancesinhospitalscanbefoundinthevariousguidancedocumentsproducedbytheNHS.Thispartdoesnotcover:1)specialistappliances,suchasthoseusedforlaundryorcatering,orthosefoundinhospitals,laboratoriesandsimilarestablishments;2)culturalpreferences;3)sanitaryrequirementsinvehiclesandothermeansoftransport;4)spacerequirementsforsanitaryappliances;NOTEBS6465-2canbereferredtoforrecommendationsonthespacerequirementsaroundsanitaryappliancestoensureconvenienceinuseandtofacilitatemaintenanceandcleaning.5)theselection,installationormaintenanceofsanitaryapplicances;6)thedetailedprovisionsofwatersupply,sanitarypipework,ordrainage.
