【摘要】:ThispartofEN12899:2001specifiesrequirementsfornewfixedsigns:non-retroreflectiveandretroreflectivefixedsigns;non-retroreflectiveandretroreflectivefixedsignswhentheyareilluminatedatnightbyexternallightingluminaires;andtransilluminatedsigns.Themainintendeduseoffixedsignsisfortheinstructionandguidanceofroadusersonpublicandprivateland.Itdefinesperformancelimitsandarangeofperformanceclassesforbothsignassemblieswithoutverticalsupportsandassembliescompletewithverticalsupports,aswellassignfacesandsupportingsubstrates,signfixingsandsupportsandexternallightingluminaires.Colorimetricandretroreflectivepropertiesaswellastheluminancearespecified.Theretroreflectivepropertiesareinrespectofmaterialsbasedontheuseofglassbeadtechnologyonly.Structuralrequirementsforsignsandsignsupportsincludeperformanceunderstaticanddynamicloading.Italsodefinesperformancelevelstobemaintainedafternaturalweatheringexposure.
